Günther Weinmann

Günther Weinmann (born March 26, 1924 in Stuttgart ) is a German lawyer.

Weinmann was called up for military service after his Abitur in 1942 and returned home seriously wounded. From 1946 he studied law in Tübingen . After the second state examination in law, he joined the judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg. He was initially at the Stuttgart public prosecutor's office, where from 1961 he became head of the newly established department for white-collar crime. From 1969 he was head of the public prosecutor's office in Ulm and from 1970 deputy head of the criminal law department in the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Justice .

In February 1972 he was appointed attorney general at the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court. From April 1980 until his retirement on March 31, 1989 he was President of the Higher Regional Court in Stuttgart .

From 1978 to 1982 he was president of the German Lawyers' Association .
