The place is three kilometers northwest of Altenpleen. The neighboring towns are Batevitz in the north, Klein Mohrdorf and Groß Mohrdorf in the northeast, Muuks in the east, Altenpleen in the southeast, Neuenpleen in the south, Buschenhagen in the southwest and Nisdorf in the northwest.
