Gaëtan Roussel (born October 13, 1972 in Rodez , Aveyron ) is a French singer-songwriter .

Career

Roussel celebrated his first musical success in 1994 as the singer of the rock band Louise Attaque . He also played two albums with the band Tarmac .

In 2008 he was responsible as composer and producer for Alain Bashung's last album , which was awarded three prizes at the Victoires de la Musique the following year . He wrote the music for the feature films by Benoît Delépine and Gustave Kervern Louise hires a Contract Killer (2008) and Mammuth (2010).

He released his first solo album in 2010 under the title Ginger .
