Gabriela Weißbrodt (born August 3, 1962 in Suhl ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Thuringian state parliament from 2008 to 2009 .

Career

Weißbrodt graduated in 1984 as an industrial clerk at Kombinat EGS Suhl and then worked for LPG Oberweißbach until 1990 . From 1987 to 1993 she completed a distance learning course at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena . From 1992 to 1996 she worked as a freelance lecturer.

From 1992 to 1994 she was a district council president of the CDU district parliamentary group in the Neuhaus am Rennweg district . From 1996 to 1998 she was the office manager in the constituency office of Federal Minister Claudia Nolte . At the same time, she completed part-time studies at the Erfurt Administration and Business Academy from 1996 to 1999. She then worked briefly as a consultant for the CDU parliamentary group in the Erfurt city council and finally from 2000 to 2008 as an electoral district employee for Michael Panse , member of the state parliament . On September 2, 2008, she finally moved into the state parliament as a replacement for the deceased Andreas Sonntag , but left there just under a year later as a result of the 2009 state elections , in which she ran for 42nd place on the CDU state list.
