Gustav Gnauck
Gustav Gnauck (born March 21, 1866 in Burkau ; † September 6, 1951 in Dresden ) was a German composer and founder of a music publisher .
Life
As a military musician, he began to compose marches, including "Love brings great Freud" and "In die Weite Welt" (Navy march). Later he settled in Dresden and founded the music publisher RG Gnauck in the Grunaer Rosenbergstrasse. This was taken over by Paul Woitschach and went on in 1980 as Gnauck Musikverlag in Melodie der Welt (music publisher) .
