Gabriele Bartoletti (* 19th April 1984 in Rome ) is an Italian football - goalkeeper , who since the summer of 2003 at Pescara Calcio in Serie B is under contract.

Career

Gabriele Bartoletti started his career in the youth team of Pescara Calcio . He made his debut for Pescara on June 12, 2004 in Serie B when he was between the posts in the home game against Ternana Calcio . This was his only use that season and the team from Abruzzo managed to stay third from bottom of the league, as SSC Napoli was sentenced to relegation . In the 2004/05 season he received two missions at Pescara. On the 11th and 12th matchday he ran for the team and was defeated in the first game in the home game against Turin with 0-2, the subsequent away game at Salernitana Calcio ended with the same result in favor of the Abruzzo team.

Bartoletti succeeded for the first time in a league game for Pescara without conceding a goal. The goalkeeper could not fight for a regular place at Pescara and received no competitive appearances in the 2005/06 season. For the following season, a loan to fourth division Celano FC Olimpia followed . Bartoletti immediately established himself as a regular goalkeeper and completed 33 league games in which he had to concede 40 goals.

After returning to his home club Pescara Calcio for the 2007/08 season, he played his first league game for the team in almost three years in the away game against Potenza SC . With a 4-0 bankruptcy in Potenza, Bartoletti returned with Pescara to Abruzzo and was awarded to the then league rivals SS Sambenedettese in January 2008 .

He only played one game and then returned to Pescara again. Even after almost seven years at the club, the goalkeeper did not succeed in asserting himself against his rivals Salvatore Pinna and Lorenzo Prisco and receiving regular appearances.

At the end of the 2009/10 season, he was promoted to the second division with Pescara. In the play-off finals, the team prevailed against Hellas Verona .
