Gabriele Fritsch-Vivié

Gabriele Fritsch-Vivié (born before 1968) is a German theater scholar , dramaturge and publicist . The employee of the working group “Women in Exile” focuses on the biographies of those politically persecuted in the first half of the 20th century.

Life

Gabriele Fritsch-Vivié studied theater studies, music, philosophy and psychology in Berlin and Vienna and did her doctorate on Ödön von Horváth . After graduating, she met Nelly Sachs in Stockholm in 1968 . This led to an occupation with the exiled writer, which over time led to a biography, essays and a radio feature .

In Germany, Fritsch-Vivié acquired practical theater skills from Oskar Werner , then she worked as an assistant director and dramaturge at various theaters.

She lives as a freelance journalist in Berlin and writes biographies, short portraits, essays and reviews . She also writes poems, libretti and play-along theater texts .

On the subject of genetic engineering , she developed a play that premiered in February 2003.

She is a member of the “Women in Exile” working group in the Society for Exile Research. V.

She is a member of ZONTA International Club Berlin 1989.
