Gabriele Schade

Gabriele Schade (born 1952 ) works as a German professor and computer scientist at the Erfurt University of Applied Sciences .

Professional development

Gabriele Schade was active as a professor for media informatics and software engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt until the 2017/18 winter semester and still has a teaching position there. One focus of her teaching and research activities is participatory software development with a special focus on usability and user experience , software engineering ( software technology ) and software ergonomics .

Other focal points of her work are human-computer interactions , gender and diversity in computer science and e-learning .

Schade has been committed to equality and equal opportunities in the MINT area (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology) for many years . That is why she is also on the program committee of the Technical University of Erfurt .
