Gabriele of Liechtenstein
Gabriele von Liechtenstein (* July 12, 1692 in Vienna ; † November 7, 1713 in Brno ) was Princess of Liechtenstein .
biography
She was born as the fifth of a total of seven children to Prince Hans Adam I of Liechtenstein and his wife Edmunda Maria Theresia von Dietrichstein-Nikolsburg . On December 1, 1712, she married Josef Johann Adam , later Prince of Liechtenstein, a distant relative of her in Vienna .
The couple had only one son, Prince Karl Anton (1713–1715), who died at the age of two. Princess Gabriele died in childbed, after only one year of marriage and at the age of only 21. Her husband only became prince eight years after her death and marries three more times. Gabriele was buried in the Liechtenstein crypt in Vranov u Brna in Moravia, but her burial site is no longer preserved and is considered lost.
