Gabrieli Qoro (born November 22, 1970 in Serua ) is a former Fijian athlete .

Career

Qoro started at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona in the 100-meter run and in the long jump . In the sprint, he retired with a time of 11.14 seconds as seventh in the third heat. He also missed qualifying for the final in the long jump and finished 41st with 7.22 meters. In the same year, he set his personal bests with 10.7 seconds over 100 meters and 7.47 meters in the long jump.

After his playing days Qoro trained in his native Netball and committed to the fight against the disease AIDS . He also works as a teacher. Until August 2011 he was national netball coach. He then took over the U21 selection.
