Gadi Lehavi (born April 29, 1996 ) is an Israeli jazz pianist .

Lehavi, who is considered a musical prodigy , attended the Rimon School for Jazz & Contemporary Music in Israel at the age of eleven, where he had lessons with Rami Levin and Avi Adrian; He also studied classical piano with Michal Tal and Jonathan Zack at the Buchmann-Mehta Music School. In 2008 he performed in Eilat at the Red Sea Jazz Festival . The following year he completed the summer program at Berklee College of Music in Boston; on a subsequent stay in New York, he was invited by Ravi Coltrane to appear at the Village Vanguard and Birdland . At the age of 13 he played the Standard Autumn Leaves live with Dave Liebman in The Hague . In the following years Lehavi a. a. at international jazz festivals such as the Kaunas Jazz Festival and the Kaliningrad City Jazz Festival . He has performed with Chick Corea , Bobby McFerrin , Ron Carter , Phil Wilson , Kurt Rosenwinkel and Eddie Gomez . In 2012 he played in the trio of saxophonist Eli Degibri , on whose album Twelve he participated.

Lehavi's playing is influenced by Keith Jarrett , Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock .
