The Gaishorn is 2247  m above sea level. A. high mountain on Vilsalpsee near Tannheim in the Allgäu Alps . It is the second highest mountain in the Vilsalpsee Mountains after the Leilachspitze and lies north of the Rauhhorn and west of the Vilsalpsee.

Ascent

The summit can be reached via several marked trails. The two most common climbs lead from Vilsalpsee via Vilsalpe and Geißeckjoch or from Vilsalpsee via Obere Roßalpe to the summit. These routes are ideal for crossing. In winter, the mountain is also a popular destination for ski tours on the northern flank.
