The Krasnov snowdrop ( Galanthus krasnovii ) is a species of snowdrop ( Galanthus ) in the Amaryllis family (Amaryllidaceae).

The Krasnov snowdrop is a perennial and herbaceous plant that reaches heights of growth from 7 to 22, rarely up to 27 centimeters. This geophyte forms an onion as a persistence organ, which measures 1.7 to 3 (4) × 0.9 to 2.5 centimeters. The leaves are 7 to 19 × 1.5 to 4 centimeters in size, light green and shiny when they bloom. They are smooth on the top or have two to four fine longitudinal furrows, often finely wrinkled.

The inner bracts are elliptical to lanceolate, narrow towards the end and have rounded tips. The anthers are pointed.

The flowering period extends from March to May.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 24.

Occurrence

The Krasnov snowdrop occurs in the western Caucasus in Abkhazia, Adjara and north-eastern Turkey on moist meadows, clearings and light bush forests up to an altitude of 1500 meters.

The Krasnov snowdrop is probably not cultivated in Germany.
