Galashki

Galashki is a village in Rajon Sunschenski in the Republic of Ingushetia ( Russia ) near the border with Chechnya .

An explosion in Galashki in September 2012, in which two people died, sparked border conflicts with Chechnya. Ingushetian President Junus-Bek Yevkurov described the killed as " bandits " while Chechnya President Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov spoke of a successful anti-terrorist operation of his army and thus threatened to question the border line if the fight against extremists on the Ingushetian side were not intensified. He also renewed Chechnya’s territorial claims to Sunschensky and Malgobek districts .
