Gambia Bar Association

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Gambia Bar Association (GBA) is the bar association in the West African state of Gambia . The office is in Banjul on Buckle Street ( Marina Parade ).

A Gambian lawyer is automatically a member of the Gambia Bar Association upon admission .

From July 2018, the Gambia Law Society (previously: Gambia National Bar Association ) became the second bar association alongside the GBA, which claims to represent young lawyers in particular, whose interests are underrepresented at the GBA.
