Gangoh ( Hindi गंगोह , Urdu گنگوہ) is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .
The city is part of the Saharanpur district . Gangoh has the status of a Nagar Palika Parishad . The city is divided into 25 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had 59,279 inhabitants, of which 31,318 were men and 27,961 women. Muslims make up the majority of the city's population with a share of over 65%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 63.51%.
