Gao Yulan

Gao Yulan ( Chinese  高 玉兰 , Pinyin Gāo Yùlán ; born October 3, 1982 in Jinzhou ) is a former Chinese rower .

Gao Yulan started rowing in 1999. At the 2006 World Championships , she finished fourth with a double scull . In 2007 she switched to the two-man without helmsman , together with Zhang Yage she finished sixth at the World Championships in Munich . In 2008 Wu You got on board , Gao and Wu won the World Cup regattas in Munich and Lucerne. At the Olympic Games in Beijing , the Romanian defending champions Georgeta Andrunache and Viorica Susanu won by a second and a half over the Chinese.

After a two-year break, Gao Yulan and Wu You competed again at the 2011 World Championships in Bled and finished fourth. At the 2012 Olympics in Eton , Gao Yulan rowed together with Zhang Yage, the two finished in seventh place.
