Wu You

Wu You ( Chinese  吴 优 , Pinyin Wú Yōu ; born March 27, 1984 in Jinzhou ) is a former Chinese rower .

Wu You started rowing in 1998. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , she finished fourth with the Chinese eighth . The Chinese women also finished fourth at the 2006 World Championships . In 2007 in Munich , the Chinese eighth came in eighth place. In 2008 Wu You switched to the two-man without a helmsman . Together with Gao Yulan , she won the World Cup regattas in Munich and Lucerne. At the Olympic Games in Beijing , the Romanian defending champions Georgeta Andrunache and Viorica Susanu won by a second and a half over the Chinese.

After a two-year break, Gao Yulan and Wu You competed again at the 2011 World Championships in Bled and finished fourth. In 2012 Wu You started in the World Cup, at the 2012 Olympic Games in Eton Gao Yulan rowed with Zhang Yage .
