The Garbel Point (English; Bulgarian нос Гърбел nos Garbel ) is a headland that forms the western foothills of Liège Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 2.25 km north-northwest of Chauveau Point and 2.36 km south-southwest of Polezhan Point .
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after Mount Garbel in the central Balkan Mountains in Bulgaria .
