The Garczynski nunatak is a conical nunatak in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . In the Wisconsin Range of the Horlick Mountains, it rises as the highest of a group of nunataks that line up west of Mount Brecher on the north flank of the Quonset Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1962 after Carl J. Garczynski (* 1936), meteorologist on the Byrd- Station in the Antarctic winter of 1961.
