Marizza Alejandra Faría Servín (born August 20, 1983 in Asunción , Paraguay ) is a Paraguayan handball player who belongs to the squad of the Paraguayan national team.
Career
Faría first played handball at school at the age of eight. Your first club was Deportivo Recolet. She next played at Club Cerro Porteño , for which she played six seasons. After the back court player played a season for Deportivo San José, she went on the hunt for goals for the Spanish club Club Balonmano Femenino Monóvar . In the summer of 2010, she joined the Spanish first division club CBF Elda . With Elda, she took part in European cup competitions in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons. For the 2012/13 season she moved to league rivals Club Balonmano Mar Alicante . In the summer of 2014 Faría joined the first division club Balonmano Elche , which she left a year later in the direction of CB Mavi NT La Calzada .
Faría took part in the 2007 World Cup , the 2013 World Cup and the 2017 World Cup with Paraguay . At the Pan American Championship in 2017 , she won the bronze medal with Paraguay. She was also elected to the tournament's all-star team.
