Gary Brozenich

Gary Brozenich is a film technician who specializes in visual effects .

Life

Brozenich studied traditional painting and illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York City . He also completed two classical studies before moving to London . Brozenich worked there as a sculptor . Through contacts in traditional industries, he began to be interested in 3D. He started a company in London and started doing traditional model making to create photorealistic CG images for advertising. After six years the company broke up and Brozenich took up a job with the Moving Picture Company (MPC), where he worked on commercials . Since his first encounter with visual effects, Brozenich has worked exclusively in this area as a CG and VFX supervisor. He describes The Godfather , Excalibur and In der Embers des Südens as his personal favorite films .

Brozenich's greatest success so far was his participation in the film Lone Ranger , for which he was first nominated for an Oscar in 2014 .
