Gary Hines (born March 21, 1984 in Atlanta , Georgia ) is an American handball player .

Career

Hine's career began in Atlanta when he was 14. He previously played basketball and only got to know handball in later years. Before he came to Germany, he played professional handball in Tenerife for a year. In Germany, he first played in the Bavarian League at DJK Waldbüttelbrunn before moving to the third division at HSC Bad Neustadt in 2010 .

National team

The 1.80 meter tall winger scored twelve goals on his international debut. He made his debut at the Pan American Games in 2003.

Others

On July 29, 2016, Hines was a candidate in the RTL show Ninja Warrior Germany , in which he qualified for the final on July 30, 2016, where he was eliminated. Also in the following year he was a candidate in this show and was eliminated again in the final. In 2018 he made it to the semi-finals, in 2019 he took part again.
