Attractions

  • Subsidiary Church of Our Lady . The church known as the Roman Tower may go back to a Roman watchtower from around the time of Christ's birth. The church was built in the 12th century and received its gable structure in 1657. In the 18th century it was renewed and expanded. The late Gothic altarpiece in the lower chapel depicts the Bethlehemetian child murder and the Archangel St. Michael from the first half of the 16th century. In the upper chapel there is a small baroque altar with a Mother of God from around 1480, next to it a life-size statue of Saint Sebastian from the 17th century and a figure of Saint Christopher from around 1500. From 2012 to 2013 the church was extensively renovated.
