Oberpindhart is a district of the municipality of Aiglsbach in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim . Until 1972 it formed an independent municipality.

location

Oberpindhart is located in the Hallertau about two kilometers south of Aiglsbach on the Pindharter Bach. Unterpindhart , a little further to the west, already belongs to the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm .

history

The community of Oberpindhart was initially subordinate to the Abensberg regional court and in 1857 came to the newly formed Mainburg regional court . When the district offices were formed in 1862, the municipality was subordinated to the Rottenburg district office . In 1867 the municipality of Oberpindhart had 340 inhabitants in the villages of Gasseltshausen (73 inhabitants), Oberpindhart (128 inhabitants), Pöbenhausen (95 inhabitants) and Radertshausen (44 inhabitants).

In 1901, the Mainburg District Office was created from the area of ​​the Mainburg District Court, the area of ​​which was designated as the Mainburg District from 1939 . As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , the municipality of Oberpindhart was incorporated into the municipality of Aiglsbach on January 1, 1972.
