The Gasthof Zum Goldenen Löwen is a listed former inn in Bennungen in the municipality of Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the northern part of the village, on the north side of Halle-Kasseler-Straße , at the address Halle-Kasseler-Straße 212 . The address Hallesche Straße 212 was previously used.
Architecture and history
The two-storey inn, which characterizes the townscape, on the main road from Halle (Saale) in the direction of Nordhausen , Kassel , may have emerged from a break . The elongated main building is built in half-timbered construction and was built at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century. It is partly plastered. There are also outbuildings.
Currently (as of 2017) it is empty and needs renovation.
In the local monument register , the restaurant has been listed as a monument since August 24, 1995 under registration number 094 83385 . The building is considered to be of cultural, artistic and urban development significance.
