The Gauliga Hessen-Nassau 1942/43 was the second season of the Gauliga Hessen-Nassau (officially: regional class Hessen-Nassau ) in football. The table was headed almost continuously by defending champion Kickers Offenbach , but in the second half of the season it got exciting again when the Kickers unexpectedly lost 3-2 at local rivals Eintracht Frankfurt on matchday 14 and FSV Frankfurt caught up in the table. However, after the FSV only played a draw one week later, the OFC was finally able to defend the one point lead until the end of the season and became Gaumeister for the fourth time in a row. In the final round of the German championship, the Kickers were eliminated in the round of 16. Wormatia Worms and SV Darmstadt 98 descended into the district class in the promotion round for the season 1943/44 , the set VfL Roedelheim and VfB 1900 Offenbach through.
