The Gderot Regional Administration ( Hebrew מוֹעָצָה אֲזוֹרִית גְּדֵרוֹת (מועצה אזורית גדרות) Mo'aza Asorit Gderot) is an Israeli regional association in the central district of Israel . The administrative association was named after the biblical place Gederot ( Jos 15.41  EU ) and borders the cities of Ashdod , Jawne and Gdera . The administrative area borders in the north on the Israeli regional association Brenner . To the west, the area borders on the Chewel Jawne regional association . In the south it borders the the Southern District located Regionalverband Beer Towja (בְּאֵר טוֹבְיָה) and to the city of Gan Jawne . To the east to the city of Gdera . There are 5,000 inhabitants in the 14 km² administrative area (as of 2014). The association was founded in 1951. The administrative headquarters are in Aseret.
