Geert Reuten
Geert Reuten , with full name Thaddeus Antonius Gerardus Maria Reuten (born April 6, 1946 in Heerlen ) is a Dutch politician and economist.
Life
Reuten has been at the Economics Erasmus University in Rotterdam and at Birkbeck College of the University of London studied. Since 2007 he has been a member of the First Chamber of the States General for the Socialist Party . Reuten teaches economics at the University of Amsterdam and is an expert on Karl Marx and Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel . He is also active in the ATTAC network . Reuten is on the Scientific Advisory Board of Historical Materialism . The actress Thekla Reuten is one of his daughters.
