Geheege is part of the Geroda community in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .
geography
The federal autobahn 9 leads west in and past the local area. The town is connected to Bundesstraße 281 by a local connecting road , which leads to Bundesstraße 2 and continues to Gera and Leipzig from Hof (Saale) . The connection to the federal motorway is also granted via the federal highway 281.
Within the boundaries of the districts, a small river is connected to a large number of ponds. This biotope has a unique flora and fauna.
history
Geheege was first mentioned in a document in July 1527. The peasants also followed the East German way of agricultural policy and, after reunification, formed new forms of cooperation. For example, an agricultural and service cooperative Geroda eG has been founded in the municipality of Geroda . She sells feed and lambs and has a workshop and tire service.
