Walker European Cup

The walkers European Cup (ger .: European Race Walking Cup) is a by European Athletics Association (ger .: European Athletics Association - EAA) veranstalteter competition of athletics discipline go . The event is held every two years, alternating with the Walker World Cup . The competition routes for men, women, juniors and juniors are 50 km , 20 km and 10 km .

history

Inspired by the first 1,961-oriented race walking World Cup (ger .: 2016 IAAF World Race Walking Team Championships ), the EAA decided to hold the first walkers European Cup on 20 April of the same year, alternating with the race walking World Cup. In January 1996 In adaptation to the staging of the Walking World Cup, the European Cup was held in 2000 and 2001 in successive years.
