The Geiersteinbach , also called Bach am Sandbühlerhof , is a two-kilometer long watercourse in the Wasgau ( Rhineland-Palatinate ) in southern Palatinate and a left tributary of the Lauter , which is still called Wieslauter here on its upper course .
course
The Geiersteinbach rises in Wasgau at an altitude of 229 m above sea level. NN on the southern edge of Busenberg in a green zone. It initially flows in a south-westerly direction. At the village meadows it unites with a southern source branch. It now runs into a green zone through the marsh meadow slope and forms three small ponds there. Then it flows first through the marsh meadows , then the long meadows and then through the eponymous Geiersteinwiesen . His further path leads him south past the Sandbühlerhof , he crosses under the main road and finally flows underground piped at an altitude of 195 m above sea level. NN from the left into the Wieslauter .
