Also shown is Ignacio Chapela , professor at the University of Berkeley , who had to sue there several times in order to continue to teach critically.
The film reports on the sale of part of the campus to the BP group , which was contractually guaranteed influence on teaching and the publication of research results. criticism
- "Uninhibitedly partisan, but worth seeing"
- "A work that gets under your skin."
- "It's amazing how the film brings the facts to light, shows the fine line between the agro-genetic engineer and the poison seller and proves the cold-setting of critics with unfair means."
- "Unrestrainedly partisan film - and yet it makes it terrifyingly clear: we don't know who we can trust, we don't know what we eat - we are the experimental animals!"
- "PURCHASED TRUTH is not a horror flick, unfortunately, but a documentary film about the consequences of genetically modified food and dealing with scientists who wanted to publish unpleasant results - and were silenced."
