Gemiş is a small town in the Çardak district in the Turkish province of Denizli . Gemiş is located about 74 km east of the provincial capital Denizli and 16 km southeast of Çardak. According to the last census, Gemiş had 1,869 inhabitants (as of December 2010).
The administrative area of Gemiş is divided into two districts , Pınar Mahallesi and Yeni Mahallesi , each of which is administered by a muhtar .
