The general cup (formerly General Cup International ) was, from the General Snooker Club Hong Kong being transmitted Snooker -Einladungsturnier. Before 2013, in addition to professional players, Far Eastern amateurs were also invited. In 2013 only professionals were invited. In 2014 there was a wildcard player in addition to the eight professionals. The tournament was held for the last time in 2015.
