Genlisea guianensis is one of the largest of its genus. Your oblong-lanceolate leaves are up to 12 inches long and 9 millimeters wide. The large, dark purple flowers sit on long, slightly hairy inflorescences, the lower lip of the corolla consists of 3 heavily incised lobes.
distribution
Genlisea guianensis grows in South America in Guyana , Venezuela ( Bolivar ) and Brazil ( Bahia , Mato Grosso , Goiás ). Since it is a semi- aquatic plant, it can only be found in very wet locations.
