GeoTools is a free Java - library geographic editing and presentation data.

The GeoTools library uses the JTS Topology Suite and implements the Simple Feature Access specification of the Open Geospatial Consortium . The library is used for both web GIS projects ( WFS , WMS ) such as GeoServer and desktop GIS projects such as uDig or AtlasStyler.
