Geodis Wilson Germany was created in 2008 through the takeover for 77 million euros of Rohde & Liesenfeld (R & L) , which was founded in Hamburg in 1954 by Carl Rohde and the former partner of Kuehne + Nagel (1945–1953) Dieter Liesenfeld , which was based on a 1940 Transport company founded by Carl Rohde.

Freight Monitor is a web-based track & trace tool designed to make freight management processes more efficient and simpler. After logging in under a personal account name, customers can track their shipments by sea or air. You can also upload main air waybills , bills of lading and commercial invoices as well as your own documents and email status updates to others. Freight Monitor data can be transferred to other applications.
