Geofrey Massa (born February 19, 1986 in Jinja ) is a Ugandan football player.

Career

society

Massa started his career in his hometown for the Nile Academy Jinja. He then went to the neighboring club Police FC to start his senior career in spring 2004 and made his debut in the 2004/05 season. After only one season in the Ugandan Premier League, he turned his back on the club and moved to Egypt in the summer of 2005 to the top club Al-Masry there . Massa played the next two seasons for Al-Masry and in 2007 moved to The Egyptian Premier League, the second highest Egyptian league to El Shams Club . Due to ongoing injuries, he only played five games but scored four goals for El Shams. After the 2007/08 season he turned his back on Egypt for the first time and went to South Africa to join the National First Division club Jomo Cosmos . At Cosmos, Massa played 14 games and scored one goal before returning to Egypt in May 2009 to sign with Al-Masriya lil Itesalat . In Nasr City he played for Itesalat for two years before he went to Yenicami Ağdelen SK in the Telsim Super League in Northern Cyprus on September 14, 2011 . In the Telsim Super League he developed into a top performer and scored 40 goals in 41 games. After this performance, he returned to South Africa on August 21, 2013 after two years in Northern Cyprus and signed for the University of Pretoria , where he has since played for the TUKS in the ABSA Premiership .

National team

Massa has been part of the extended squad for the Ugandan national soccer team since 2005 and has so far played 39 international matches in which he scored 10 goals.
