Georg Scheu badge

The Georg-Scheu-Plakette (also called Wine Culture Prize of the City of Alzey ) has been awarded to a person who cares about wine since 2000 as part of the Alzeyer Winzerfest on the third weekend in September, on the wine and sparkling wine terrace as part of a representative wine tasting and has earned the wine culture of Rheinhessen .

The plaque is named after Georg Scheu and is awarded by the city of Alzey , the district of Alzey-Worms , the winemakers of the wine and sparkling wine terrace and the Allgemeine Zeitung Alzey .
