Georg Baumann (entrepreneur)
Georg Baumann (born March 15, 1878 in Amberg ; † March 4, 1968 there ) was a German entrepreneur and politician in Amberg.
Life
Baumann studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-University and was a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg since 1897 . As the owner of the Baumann brothers' stamping and enamelling works , he promoted the industrial development of the city of Amberg. He was involved in local and state politics and in business associations. From December 13, 1954 to January 9, 1956, he sat (for the Free Democratic Party ) in the Bavarian state parliament . As old age president, he opened the constituent state parliament session on December 13, 1954.
