Georg Ewald von Puttkamer

Georg Ewald von Puttkamer (* 1683 ; † August 1, 1748 in Angerburg ) was a Prussian colonel and most recently chief of garrison regiment No. 11 .

He was born in Pomerania, was initially in the Polish service and then switched to the Prussian service as a lieutenant colonel . On November 8, 1741, King Friedrich II appointed him colonel. Puttkamer first took over the new garrison regiment No. 10 and then in 1744 the garrison regiment No. 11. In 1748 he took his leave and died on August 1, 1748 in Angerburg in Prussia.
