Georg Friedrich Steinike
Georg Friedrich Steinike (born April 6, 1801 in Bruchhausen , † January 19, 1880 in Harburg , today Hamburg ) was an accountant at the main customs office in Harburg on the Elbe.
Life
Georg Friedrich Steinike was an accountant for the city of Harburg. His son Hermann Steinike and Eduard Weinlig founded the Steinike & Weinlig mineral water factory in 1853 .
Honors
In 1868, on the occasion of his 50th anniversary in service, the city of Harburg made him an honorary citizen .
