Georg Gustav von Freymann adH Nursie (* 1789 in Orenburg , Russia , † unknown in Orenburg) was a Baltic nobleman and major general in the Imperial Russian Army .

Life

After the death of his first wife, his father had sold his estate Igast (near Tõlliste) and had moved with his children to Alt-Nursie , the family estate. Georg Gustav grew up there with his brothers and a few cousins ​​and enjoyed schooling with them from the tutor Christian Friedrich Gnuechtel. Even in their early years, the youngsters practiced horse riding, fencing and smaller pre-military exercises. Like his brothers Hermann Jakob (1791–1865), Rudolph Friedrich (1786–1850) and Karl Otto (1788–1858), he began his military career in the Second St. Petersburg Cadet Corps . He continued his service in the artillery ; There are no further biographical data on the further career. He died unmarried in Orenburg as a major general.

Origin and family

Georg Gustav came from the Baltic noble family von Freymann adH Nursie and was the son of Otto Reinhold von Freymann (1760-1850) and his wife from his first marriage to Juliane Jacobine von Stackelberg * (1789).
