Georg Heinrich Behr

Georg Heinrich Behr (born October 16, 1708 in Strasbourg ; † May 9, 1761 ibid) was an Alsatian physician , doctor in Strasbourg and personal physician to the Count of Hohenlohe-Waldenburg .

Life

Georg Heinrich Behr studied at the universities of Strasbourg and suffering medicine and looked after his promotion to his death as a doctor in Strasbourg. In addition, in 1738 he became court advisor and personal physician to the Count of Hohenlohe-Waldenburg.

In 1743 Behr became president of the "teutsche Gesellschaft zu Strasburg" and in 1751 a police judge and assessor of the small council.

On April 2, 1738, Georg Heinrich Behr with the academic surname Glaucias II was elected member ( matriculation no. 482 ) of the Leopoldina .
