Georg Kleinfeller

Georg Kleinfeller (born December 25, 1857 in Augsburg , † August 8, 1932 in Kiel ) was a German legal scholar . He devoted himself to criminal law (Germany) , procedural law and Roman law .

Life

After graduating from the Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich , Georg Kleinfeller studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich from 1876 . After taking his first legal exam, he worked as a legal intern in Munich from 1880 to 1883 and worked on his doctoral thesis , which he obtained in 1882 as a Dr. iur. received his doctorate . On March 24, 1885 , he completed his habilitation in Munich. On March 8, 1894 he was appointed associate professor .

In the same position, he moved to the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel in the summer semester of 1895 . As professor for "criminal law, criminal and civil procedural law and bankruptcy law" (appointed on March 8, 1895) he became a professor on February 23, 1896 after almost a year . In 1913/14 he was rector of the CAU. In his rector's speech on March 5, 1913, he dealt with justice and the legal process .

Kleinfeller worked in Kiel until the end of his life. He has written numerous treatises, studies, and handbooks on his specialties. In 1913/1914 he was rector of the University of Kiel. On June 18, 1914, he became a go. Council of Justice appointed. On April 1, 1925, he retired when he reached retirement age .

His son was the chemist Hans Kleinfeller (1897–1973).
