Georg Lindner

Georg Lindner (born May 11, 1925 in Offenbach am Main ; † March 24, 2014 ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Georg Lindner studied after military service (1943–1945) and Abitur in 1946 from 1947 to 1950 law at the universities in Mainz and Frankfurt am Main and graduated in 1951 with the first state examination in law before the judicial examination office at the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court and in 1955 with the second state examination the legal state examination office in Wiesbaden. In 1956 he was awarded a doctorate in law at the University of Frankfurt's Faculty of Law. jur. PhD. From 1959 he worked as a lawyer , in 1968 he was appointed notary by the Hessian Minister of Justice . The law firm is continued today by his son Reinhard Lindner. In February 2003 he ended his activity as a notary when he reached the age limit.

Georg Lindner was married and had three children.

politics

Georg Lindner is a member of the CDU and is active there in various board positions. Among other things, he was state chairman of the CDU local authority association in Hesse.

He was a city councilor in Offenbach and became chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in June 1957. Between 1962 and 1968 he was a full-time city councilor in Offenbach.

Georg Lindner was a member of the Hessian state parliament from October 19, 1965 to November 30, 1978.
