Georg Ludwig von Anns (born August 31, 1760 in Neuenstein ; † July 7, 1837 in Regensburg ) was a German politician.

Life

Anns came from a patrician family in the free imperial city of Heilbronn . His parents were the judicial officer Bernhard Ludwig Anns and his wife Maria Gottliebe Romich , a daughter of the councilor Friedrich Romich .

In contrast to his younger brother Wilhelm Anns, who went to Regensburg in 1793, he settled in Frankfurt am Main , where he initially worked as an authorized signatory and then became an independent wholesaler in 1801. After his brother worked successfully as mayor in Regensburg, he also moved to this city with his act. From 1819 to 1837 he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies for the Regensburg administrative region.

In recognition of his services to the wholesale trade in the Kingdom of Bavaria , he and Wilhelm Anns were raised to the Bavarian nobility on March 9, 1824 in Munich .
