Georg Julius Wilhelm Nordblad (born August 24, 1894 in Helsinki ; † August 15, 1970 there ) was a Finnish sports shooter .
successes
Georg Nordblad took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in a trap . In the team competition, he finished third with the Finnish team behind the United States and Canada. With a total of 360 points, the team, which in addition to Nordblad also consisted of Konrad Huber , Robert Tikkanen , Werner Ekman , Magnus Wegelius and Robert Huber , was on par with the Canadians, but lost to them in a final jump-off and thus won the bronze medal. Nordblad was the team's second weakest shooter with 80 points, so his score was not included in the overall standings. He finished the individual competition with 89 points in 24th place.
