successes
Konrad Huber took part in the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924 and in Helsinki in 1952 in a trap . In the team competition in 1924 he finished third with the Finnish team behind the United States and Canada. With a total of 360 points, the team, which in addition to Huber also consisted of Werner Ekman , Robert Tikkanen , Georg Nordblad , Magnus Wegelius and his brother Robert Huber , was on par with the Canadians, but lost to them in a final jump-off and thus won the bronze medal. With 94 points, Huber was the team's best shooter. In the individual competition, like Gyula Halasy , he achieved the best value of 98 points, but Halasy prevailed in the jump-off against Huber, so that the latter remained the silver medal. In 1952 Huber finished fifth with 188 points.
In 1937 he became world champion in Helsinki in both individual and team competitions . He had already won silver with the team in Stockholm in 1929 . In 1947 he won bronze in the team competition there.
Konrad Huber was honored in 1937 with the "Finland Swedish Gold Medal" (Swedish Den finlandssvenska bragdmedaljen ), an award for Finnish-Swedish athletes.
